Before a sleep study can be scheduled, a complete physical examination by your referring doctor may be required.

Your insurance may require pre-authorization and the Lab will do this for you.

Sleep studies require an overnight stay at one of our sleep centers. Our centers offer various testing room environments from the standard laboratory room to luxury hotel rooms. We also offer sleep studies in the comfort of your own home.

The sleep study consists of monitoring: airflow from your nose and mouth, heart rate, leg movement, muscle movement, brain waves, oxygen levels, and eye movement.

Electrodes will be placed on your scalp, chest, and legs by a trained sleep technician.

During the sleep study no one will watch you sleep. Your sleep will be monitored by computers.

The entire study is outpatient and is painless.

The study will be interpreted by a physician board certified in sleep medicine.

A full analysis will be submitted to your physician and will include any necessary information to help treat insomnia, obstructive sleep apnea, snoring, etc. Your physician will advise you on available options.
